SPF syntax checker

Paste one SPF TXT value per line to check selected syntax rules locally. The checker does not query DNS, expand included policies, evaluate sender IPs, or confirm that a policy authorizes your mail.

Enter the TXT value only, beginning with v=spf1. If checking records from DNS, use one value per line and include only the SPF TXT strings, not the owner name or TXT label. Blank lines and lines beginning with # are ignored. One pair of surrounding quotes is accepted.

Checks performed

• Requires the exact v=spf1 version token and checks common SPF mechanisms and modifiers for basic syntax.
• Flags multiple SPF values in the pasted set and duplicate all, redirect, or exp terms.
• Counts lookup-causing terms in each pasted policy and notes when the visible count exceeds ten. It cannot inspect nested include or redirect policies.

A clean result means only that this limited local parser found no listed issue. It does not validate a complete SPF evaluation, DNS publication, provider-specific rules, or mail delivery. SPF mechanisms and modifiers are defined in RFC 7208; check your mail providers' current instructions before changing a live policy.
