Website hosting invoice renewal audit

Itemize hosting invoice charges, renewal dates, one-time fees, entered taxes, and promotion expiry to estimate the next 12 months. No provider price defaults.

Use charges and dates from your own hosting invoice, account dashboard, and current billing terms to estimate the next 12 months. Do not paste account numbers or other sensitive billing details; this worksheet processes the entries in your browser.

Enter invoice line items

Enter one item per line using pipe separators in this order: name | type | current charge | interval months | next charge date | renewal charge | promotion expiry date | tax per charge. Use recurring or one-time. For one-time fees, use one-time, 0 for interval, and leave renewal and promotion expiry blank. For recurring items, a renewal charge with no promotion date applies from the next charge; when a promotion date is entered, it applies to charges on or after that date. Dates use YYYY-MM-DD. Use zero for tax when none applies or the tax is already included. Do not include the pipe character in item names.

Enter a start date and one or more invoice items.

How the estimate works

The 12-month window includes charges dated on or after the start date and before the same date next year. Recurring rows use the entered next charge date and repeat at the entered whole-month interval. If a promotion expiry date is entered, the renewal amount applies to charges on or after that date; without one, the renewal amount applies from the next charge. One-time fees are counted only when their entered date falls in the window. Tax is the per-charge amount you enter; the result does not calculate tax rates or decide whether tax is included.

Compare each line against the actual invoice and the provider's current billing, cancellation, and renewal terms. Check whether an item is an add-on, whether the shown price is promotional, how a longer billing period is prepaid, and whether taxes or currency conversion appear separately. This estimate does not retrieve invoices, identify unauthorized charges, determine contract rights, or predict provider price changes. Taxes, fees, billing dates, proration, refunds, and renewal rules vary. Confirm the amount due with the provider before acting.

How it works

Enter a 12-month start date and invoice line items with charge type, amount, billing interval, next charge date, optional renewal amount and promotion expiry, and tax per charge. The local worksheet totals recurring charges, one-time fees, entered taxes, and item totals without provider price defaults.

Good to know

How do I estimate a promotional renewal?

Enter the current charge and next due date, plus any renewal charge and optional promotion expiry date. With an expiry date, charges on or after it use the renewal amount; without one, the renewal amount applies from the next charge. Confirm amounts and dates in your provider's current terms.

Does the result include tax and one-time fees?

One-time fees are counted on their entered date inside the selected 12-month window. Taxes are included only as the per-charge amounts you enter; the worksheet does not calculate tax rates or determine tax treatment.

Does this determine whether a charge is valid or what a provider will bill?

No. It totals your entered invoice and terms data. Confirm the billing period, taxes, proration, fees, currency, and renewal amount with the provider.
