Hostinger Web Premium vs Bluehost Starter · checked November 3, 2026

Compare hosting plan resource limits with your workload

Compare a reader-entered website workload against dated official hosting plan limits for storage, file count, transfer, CPU, RAM, workers, backups, and email. Missing or conflicting values stay unranked.

Compare one small informational WordPress site's measured or planned resource needs with the public limits documented for Hostinger Web Premium and Bluehost Starter. Enter only values you have measured or chosen; blank rows are skipped. This is a dated source comparison, not a provider recommendation or a performance test.

Enter any needs you want to compare. Rows without an entered need will be omitted.

Published plan figures and comparison limits

As checked November 3, 2026, Hostinger's Web Premium limits page lists 20 GB storage, 400,000 inodes, 1 CPU core, 2 GB RAM, and 40 PHP workers. Its shared-hosting offer page lists free weekly backups and two mailboxes per website free for one year. The mailbox figure describes the included first-year offer; it does not document post-year pricing or a permanent mailbox cap.

Bluehost's Starter plan page lists 10 GB NVMe storage and weekly website backups. It describes its transfer as unmetered subject to acceptable-use terms. The cited Starter page does not publish comparable CPU-core, RAM, PHP-worker, or mailbox-count numbers. Bluehost's account-limits article gives shared-hosting-wide bandwidth and email information, not a Starter-specific resource schedule. Bluehost's own inode help articles also publish different thresholds, so this worksheet does not pick one as Starter's file-count capacity.

How the worksheet decides

For a numeric published figure, the result subtracts your entered need from that figure and reports the remaining amount or the excess. A number within a published cap means only that this one entered quantity is below the stated figure. It does not account for other sites on the account, reserved space, temporary files, traffic spikes, provider policy, workload mix, or whether the provider's stated units match your measurement method.

When a row has no comparable plan-specific number, the result says so rather than treating a blank as zero or inferring a limit from another plan. For transfer, a listed “unlimited” or “unmetered” term is displayed as a policy description, not converted to a numeric allowance. For backups, a weekly label is compared only with your chosen maximum interval; it says nothing about successful restore or retention.

For a real purchase decision, confirm the current plan name, country storefront, account dashboard limits, written backup terms, email trial end date, and acceptable-use policy with each provider. If you already run a site, use measured peak traffic, file count, storage, and PHP concurrency rather than estimating from monthly visits alone. See the bandwidth limits guide, PHP worker worksheet, file-count headroom worksheet, and dated hosting cost method for related checks.

Before acting on a constraint, record account-specific billing, backups, possible service effects, and a recovery path with the hosting plan and quota change checklist.

Provider pages can change and may vary by region, account, or offer. The figures above are a snapshot; re-open the cited official pages before relying on them. No provider is ranked, and no affiliate link is active.

How it works

Enter any measured or planned resource needs for your site. For rows with a clear numeric figure published for the selected plan, the worksheet reports remaining headroom or excess. Missing, conflicting, and non-numeric policy values are labeled as not comparable; the result is not a plan-fit guarantee.

Good to know

Which plans are compared?

This dated snapshot compares Hostinger Web Premium and Bluehost Starter using first-party plan and policy pages checked November 3, 2026. Plans and regional offers change; verify the current plan and account terms before purchase.

Does a result within a published limit mean the plan will work for my site?

No. It compares one input at a time with a published figure. It does not model shared-account contention, resource bursts, other sites in your account, performance, provider policies, or changes in workload.

Why are some provider values missing?

A cell stays not comparable when the cited official pages do not give a plan-specific numerical value, use a non-numeric term such as unmetered, or publish conflicting file-count guidance. The worksheet does not infer a number from another plan or turn a policy term into a guarantee.

Are the listed backup and email amounts permanent?

No. The source listings describe weekly backup frequency and Hostinger's first-year mailbox inclusion. They do not establish backup retention or restore guarantees, mailbox limits after the included period, or future paid prices. Confirm those terms for your account.
